The smallest plate most people in here ever handle is the two-and-a-half,
and they treat it as rounding. It is a two-and-a-half litre tin of paint.
Carry one up a stairwell and come back and tell me it is nothing.

What I use is smaller than that. Half a kilo a side, twelve discs since February,
six kilos on a bar that had twenty on it and would not move.

That is a bag of potatoes I could not lift in the winter.
There is no honest way to make it sound like anything and I am writing it down anyway.
