Somebody joined a choir because they liked the people in it.
They learned every name in three weeks, took over the tea rota,
booked the coach for the concert and rang round about the parking.
At the concert they stood in the back row and mouthed it.
Afterwards everyone said it had been a wonderful night, and meant it,
and they had been part of it, and that was also true.
They went home and could not work out why they felt like a guest.
